Speed limit for vehicles in Bangalore effective from 09 Dec 2011

You can’t drive cars faster than 60 kmph and bikes 50 kmph within the city from now on. The Bangalore Traffic Police have released speed-ceiling chart for vehicles, effective from Thursday night. Additional commissioner for traffic MA Saleem said the 60kmph limit is a globally accepted one. There’s an exception, though: only cars are allowed
